At Rose Hill Montessori School we have an active and fun Parent Teacher Organization. Each year we raise money to have family events, send students to special camps, and provide classroom resources, as well as student and teacher scholarships.


The PTO is a 501 (3) (c) 82-0505861 and your donation is Tax Deductible.

What is Cup of Tea?


We know you are bombarded with fundraisers asking you to buy products, with only a small portion of each donation going to the school. Instead, we invite you to sit down, enjoy a cup of tea, and consider what you would have spent on those other fundraisers - and contribute directly for the most impact.


100% percent of your donation goes directly to support our mission to enrich and expand the education of our children.


Help us reach our goal of $5,500 to fund programs and goals for the year:


● $500 Playground Updates: Equipment renewal - play is an essential part of learning!

● $4,000 Core Programs: WITS (Writers in the Schools) program, PTO school shirts, yearbooks, and experiential learning

through field trips and guest educators

● $1,000 American Montessori Society (AMS) Membership: 2025-2026 membership renewal, supporting our school's

commitment to Montessori standards and resources.

● 3,500+ Teacher support and scholarships: Flexible support for unplanned educational events, attendance at the 2026

International Montessori Conference, and future scholarship funds.

Mission

 The mission of the Rose Hill Montessori Parent Teacher Organization (RHM PTO) is to support the philosophy of Montessori education through a cooperative partnership between staff, parents, and children.  It provides multiple opportunities for the parent and teacher community to create a kind, nurturing environment in which children are encouraged to develop socially, ethically, and intellectually.

Scholarships

The purpose of the financial scholarship is to assist committed students and their families in a time of financial need to continue their Rose Hill studies. The scholarship(s) will be awarded to families who have followed and completed the application process, provided documentation of need and who have demonstrated a commitment to the Montessori philosophy of education. The amount allocated to the fund will be decided by the PTO by November 1. The recipient(s) and amount of the scholarship(s) will be chosen by a scholarship selection committee.

Join Us!

Every third 2nd Tuesday of the month at 6:00pm the PTO is meeting at the school. Pizza and childcare are available as part of the meeting perks. We look forward to seeing your family at the PTO meeting!
